iPad User, issue 34 (and 33)

I wrote two tutorials for the latest issue of Future’s digital-only magazine for iPad users – and both feature on the cover. There are guides to creating, editing and managing playlists in the Music app, plus tapping into Pages’ powerful document-editing tools.

I also featured in issue 33, contributing an article on organising your documents using the Microsoft Office suite of apps.

IPU26I have two brand new tutorials appearing in the latest issue of Future’s digital-only magazine for iPad users. The first is a guide to creating your own ebooks, and the second looks at how to organise notes and manage projects using the powerful Outline+ tool.

The magazine is exclusively available through the iOS app store – individual issues cost £2.99, but you can set up a rolling £1.99 subscription or purchase an annual subscription (£19.99) through Future’s website.

No less than four tutorials covering Adobe Voice, Fantastical 2, Outlook Web Access and Zoho Survey are featured, alongside three reviews (RadResume, Red Onion and Parallels Access v2) and my regular Troubleshooter section, this issue updated with a guide for fixing AirPlay-related problems. iPad User Magazine 10The latest issue of Future’s digital-only magazine for iPad users has hit the Apple Newsstand, and is the first to be fully interactive. I contributed four tutorials: create a database in Numbers, design an interactive quiz in Keynote, monitor network folders with FileBrowser and see what’s connected to your current network with Fing. I also contributed two single-page reviews on MobileFamilyTree 7.1 and Fantastical for iPad 2.
